Мгновенно бросается в глаза, насколько металлисты наших дней безгранично обожают Metallica, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Death и Darkthrone. И с превеликой гордостью напрочь игнорируют спорно-сомнительные жанры вроде ню-метала, альт-метала и индустриального метала.
Из некомфортных сюрпризов: Motörhead далеко не столь востребован, как всем всегда казалось. То же касается сольных пластинок Дио с Оззи. Похоже, из классического хеви-метала реально всем миром заправляет лишь Iron Maiden.
Cовершенно очевидно тотальное доминирование антикварных, нержавеющих записей прошлого века. Альбомы XXI века приходится с лупой выискивать! А много ли тру-металлистов носят с собой лупу?
